FINE Wine & Champagne India magazine is India’s first officially registered and recognised wine magazine in India. The magazine celebrated its first anniversary and hosted the very unique FINE Ambassadors’ and High Commissioners’ Table, inviting diplomatic missions from 8 wine producing countries in India. The Spanish Charge de Affaires, Mr. Ramon Blecua joined other Ambassadors & High Commissioners from Austria, Australia, Canada, Champagne, France, Germany, Italy, and Portugal. The EU Ambassador was also present along with the gracious host – the Ambassador of Finland who hosted the dinner at her residence. The Spanish Rioja, R. Lopez de Heredia Viña Tondonia Rioja 2001 was served with a delicious roast lamb and was well received by all the 46 guests. Mr. Blecua gave an engaging speech about the wine, the winery, and the wine culture in Spain and around the world. And he was delighted that India had presented such a high quality magazine which would take wine to a new level.»
